ISLAMABAD: Gas shortage could increase in coming days due to an increase in the intensity of cold, a local news outlet reported on Friday.

Gas shortfall may increase from December 20 to January 21, leaving domestic users in trouble during the high cold days, it was stated.

It was stated that the shortfall is likely to go up to 7 billion cubic feet per day due to an increase in consumption whereas supply including Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) will presumably remain at four billion cubic feet per day.
