Pakistan successfully conducts first test flight of rocket system: ISPR

Pakistan has successfully test flight of indigenously developed Fatah-1, a guided multi-launch rocket system, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar on Thursday.

According to the ISPR DG: “Pakistan today conducted a successful test flight of indigenously developed #Fatah-1, Guided Multi Launch Rocket System, capable of delivering a conventional Warhead up to a range of 140 km.”

The weapon system will give Pakistan Army the capability of precision target engagement deep in enemy territory, said military’s media wing.

President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated the participating troops and scientists on the success of the test flight.
