The Islamabad administration on Thursday allowed outdoor dining after 10pm at various eateries across the city and maintained the ban on indoor dining due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The district administration said in the light of the National Command and Operations Centre’s (NCOC) instructions, the 10pm ban on indoor dining will remain in place and existing timetable for shopping malls and business centres, which has been in place due to the pandemic, will continue to be implemented as well.
The administration added, “Restrictions on closing recreational areas by 6pm will also remain in place. The standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coronavirus will continue to be strictly enforced.”
As per statistics, Pakistan has so far recorded almost 540,000 Covid-19 infections and more than 11,500 deaths from the pandemic. Around 2,000 new cases and 64 deaths were reported on Thursday.
