According to the Air Quality Index, Karachi has the second most poor air quality after New Delhi. The report futher mentions that the number of dirt particles in the city is 274 particulate meters which is lethal for public health. Karachi is the center of factories, agricultural, film and TV industry and much more stuff. The population growth there is very high. Therefore, having a poor air quality there is fair enough but the issue is that no one works to control it. However, the case of air pollution had been under massive concern for a long time but no change can be seen. Instead of eradication the air pollution is growing higher with each passing day. That’s the major reason behind the interminable risky diseases in the city. The government should react as soon as possible.
