Transfers, postings of civil servants notified

ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division on Monday notified the transfer and posting of civil servants.

Momin Agha, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service who was awaiting assignment since July 12, was transferred and posted as officer on special duty in Establishment Division “with immediate effect”.

Working as an additional chief secretary (home), Agha was relieved of his duties and directed to report to the Establishment Division for further orders. He was also relieved of the additional charge of the post of home secretary of southern Punjab.

“He is […] entrusted [with] the task of Director General, National Crisis Information Management Cell [and will report] to Secretary Interior Division, with immediate effect and until further orders,” the notification read.

While Malik Ishfaq Khan, a BPS-18 officer of the Office Management Group, is transferred and posted as OSD in the Establishment Division with effect from August 30 until May 13, 2023, to study for a degree at Columbia University.

The government has no objection to his proceeding abroad for the scholarship and does not bear any financial responsibility in this regard, read the notification
