Celebrities, world leaders’ offshore companies revealed in Pandora Papers.

The Pandora papers released by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) show that over 130 billionaires and celebrities from US, UK, Russia, Mexico, India and Pakistan bought secret assets and conducted hidden transactions.

According to sources, Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar is among those whose name have been included in the Pandora scandal.

However, Tendulkar’s lawyer claimed that the cricketer’s assets are obtained through lawful means.

Shakira, a Colombian artist’s name have also been included in the Pandora leaks. Shakira’s attorney has denied the claims by stating that her offshore accounts provide no tax benefits.

The King of Jordan, the Presidents of Ukraine, Kenya, and Ecuador, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair are all included in the Pandora Papers.

Indian billionaire Anil Ambani’s name has also been included in the list. According to the leaks, he owns 18 asset holding offshore entities.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II has also been included in the list. As per the sources, he secretly acquired $100 million in property in the US and UK, including luxurious beach view houses in Malibu.

Lawyers for King Abdullah said all the properties were bought with personal wealth, which he also uses to fund projects for Jordan’s citizens.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s name is also included in the list of the Pandora leaks. As per sources, he has unlawful assets in Monaco.

Tony and Cherie Blair saved hundreds of thousands of pounds in property taxes when acquiring a London office building from an offshore company partially owned by a prominent Bahraini minister.

The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his family, who have been accused of looting their own country, have also been named in the leak.

The files show how the family – long accused of corruption in the central Asian nation – bought 17 properties, including a £33m office block in London for the president’s 11-year-old son Heyder Aliyev.

The former British prime minister and his wife became the owners of a £6.5m office building in 2017 by acquiring a British Virgin Islands (BVI) company controlled by the family of HE Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani, the constitutional monarchy’s current minister for industry, commerce and tourism..
