NCOC daily update: 1,490 new cases, 27 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Sunday reported 1,490 new COVID-19 cases and 27 more deaths, the National Command and Operation Centre said on Monday.

The NCOC said the number of overall confirmed cases had risen to 1,251,348, including 1,177,249 who have recovered.

The number of active cases has dropped to 46,206 who are under treatment across the country, while 3,407 are in critical condition.

According to the NCOC, the pandemic killed 27 people on Sunday, increasing the death toll to 27,893.

Sindh is the most affected province of the country with 460,111 infections followed by Punjab which has reported 433,286 infections.
