Shehryar Afridi briefs ICG director on human rights violations in Jammu & Kashmir  

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi Friday called on Ms Laurel Miller, Director of the International Crisis Group’s Asia Program in in Washington DC, USA.

Ms Laurel leads the organisation’s research, analysis, and policy advocacy about and in the region. She joined Crisis Group in January 2019 and also had issued a report on the growing human rights violation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) last year.

During the meeting, Shehryar Afridi briefed Mr Laurel Miller on the war crimes and crimes against humanity by the illegal occupational forces of Indian in Jammu and Kashmir. He also

presented a copy of the detailed dossier on human rights violations in IIOJK and briefed her on the matter. Later, Mr Afridi also invited Ms Laurel to visit Pakistan & Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
