PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will spend Rs8 billion over the next two years to promote science and Information technology.
Atif Khan, Provincial Minister for Science and Technology, said at the Digital Youth Summit Program in Peshawar, that ‘Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ is the agenda of the provincial government.
He said that digital technology will provide easy and fast employment opportunities to the youth. According to Atif Khan, there are many opportunities for national and international investors in the IT sector. “The development of IT sector will boost the digital economy of the province,” said the minister.
Atif Khan added that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would spend Rs8 on the promotion of information Technology.
At the two-day Digital Youth Summit 2021, Provincial Information Minister Kamran Bangash said that “digital and paperless governance” is being introduced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that it will ensure. Bangash further said that KP youth have the potential to grow in the IT sector.
