PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government Saturday launched PayPlus Current Account to help facilitate its employees in drawing their salaries in advance.
Under the PayPlus Current Account, launched in collaboration with Bank of Khyber, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government employees will be able to withdraw half of their salary in advance without any interest.
A letter issued by the Finance Department to all government departments also said that Bank of Khyber has launched Plus Current Account for the government employees of the province under which in case of accidental death of the account holder, his family will be provided three salaries will be released
Under the Pay Plus Current Account, the KP government employees can withdraw markup-free advance half Salary in advance. The Current Account Users will have the facility to submit tax returns through BOK.
They will be provided free debit card, free check book, free unlimited online transactions (within the bank) free account statement, unlimited free SMS alerts, Free mobile app and there will be no initial deposit restrictions.
Similarly, the KP government employees will also be provided easy loans will and support in purchase of car, motorbike and transfer of house to solar energy.
