Regulator tightens social curbs at airports

KARACHI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) imposed additional restrictions at the airports nationwide to combat the latest wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

The curbs have been placed to save the crew and airport staff from contracting the Omicron variant of the disease.

The regulator made the wearing of facemasks mandatory for the passengers and visitors.

It issued the communiqué to airports across the country.
