ISLAMABAD: The prime minister Wednesday lauded the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) for expanding its outreach by opening new facilitation centres across the country.
In a tweet, Imran Khan said: “To facilitate our citizens, Nadra has expanded its outreach by opening 88 new registration centres including in tehsils where no centre existed before.”

Providing a breakdown of the new centres, the prime minister said 23 new centres were opened in Sindh, 16 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 13 in Balochistan, 12 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 11 each in Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan and one each in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
In August last, Khan inaugurated the Pak-ID mobile application of Nadra, enabling peÂoÂÂple to use their smartphones for biometric verification.
