KARACHI: Two brothers turned out to be the killers of their two other brothers in Karachi over a property dispute, police said on Saturday.
Confessing to their crime, both men told the police that they were forced to take an extreme step over a property dispute.
SSP Faizan Ali told media that Islam, one of those arrested from interior Sindh town of Sakrand, had revealed that he killed Ali Nawaz along with Shahid Hussain in the city’s Medina Colony on July 7, 2022 by attacking him with a gas cylinder.
“He further said that his brother Shahid had been released from jail in 2016 after completing 10-year prison term in connection with the murder of his another brother named Rehman,” the SSP informed.
“After coming out of the prison, Shahid and I started planning the murder of Ali Nawaz,” he said while quoting Islam.
“The police have also seized the cylinder used in the murder,” the SSP said.
