Control room set up to update public on Punjab by-polls: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that central control room, a monitoring cell and social media wing have been set up at Central Secretariat of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Model Town Lahore for the by-elections to 20 Punjab Assembly seats being held Sunday (today).

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the federal minister informed the central control room would collect correct information from all the 20 constituencies and inform the public and media without any delay.

She said it would not only help monitor those who stole ballots and abducted electoral staff during the Daska by-election, but also expose their “evildoings”.
