KP govt has released 10pc funds of ongoing projects

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has released 10% [Rs1.54 billion] of the funds allocated for salaries for 32 sectors of ongoing development projects included in the annual development program of the current fiscal year 2022-23.

According to the circular, Rs530 has been issued to the Department of Agriculture, Rs400 million to the Department of Awqaf, Rs9.5 million to the Department of Finance, Rs70 million to water and sanitation services, Rs7.7 million for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Rs2.58mn to Water and Power Department, Rs10.40 million to the Environment Department, Rs 10.27 million to the Establishment and Administration Department, Rs2.9 million to the Excise Department, Rs3.5 million to Finance Department, Rs200m to Food Department, Rs700m to Forest Department, Rs 33.5m to the Department of Health, Rs20.1m t0o Department of Higher Education, Rs50m to the Department of Interior, Rs140m to the Department of Information, Rs30 million to the Department of Labor, Rs20. 81m to Department of Law and Justice, Rs10m to Local Government Department, Rs10.7m Minerals Department, Ra290m to Multi-Sectoral Development, Rs60.6m to Population Welfare, Rs50m to Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Rs2 lakh for road projects, Rs40.2m Social welfare Department, Rs520m to sports and tourism department, Rs90.7m for science and technology department, Rs10 m for transport department, Rs90m for urban development while Rs5.6 have been released for the employees associated with drinking water facilities projects.

According to the circular, the expenditure will be incurred on approved activities in PC-1 of the projects.
