Pakistan Army to help flood affectees in difficult times: Gen Bajwa

— COAS visits flood relief camps in Rajanpur, DIK to meet flood victims

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa reached flood affected areas of Rojhan, Distt Rajanpur, Punjab, and Saggu Bridge near Dera Islamil Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In Rajanpur, the COAS visited flood relief camp and met flood victims. During visit to Rohjan, the COAS assured flood affectees that Pakistan Army will help them to overcome their problems in these difficult times.

The COAS directed ground troops to take this responsibility as a noble cause and spare no effort to lessen the burden of flood affected brothers and sisters.

Later, the COAS visited flood affected areas of DI Khan. While interacting with flood victims, COAS consoled them over their loss and lauded the resilience of local residents in the face of unprecedented natural calamity.

The COAS also directed FC South KP troops to ensure timely assistance and help to brave people of KP in this hour of need .
