PDWP approves development schemes

LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved the development scheme of the industries sector with an estimated cost of Rs4,107 million.

The scheme was approved in the ninth meeting of PDWP of the current fiscal year presided over by the Planning and Development (P&D) Board chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes included the establishment of a new small industrial estate in Gujrat.

P&D Board secretary Sohail Anwar Chaudhary, all members of the board, provincial secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
