3 PML-N workers injured in firing by PTI rivals in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD: Three workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were seriously injured after an altercation between them and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers led to firing by the latter in a
suburban village of Hafizabad on Thursday.

The alleged clash that took place between Riyasat Group of the PTI and
Humayun Group of the PML-N in Jahad Hassanwala village spread panic in the
area as the residents were forced to restrict themselves to their homes.
Even schoolchildren and college students preferred to bunk their classes
fearing they might fall prey to a stray bullet if they ever dared to step
out of their homes.

The personnel of Rescue 1122 shifted all the three injured to hospital while
police also reached the spot to investigate.
