Senate passes three government bills

ISLAMABAD: The Senate on Friday passed three government bills after receiving the reports from relevant standing committees on them.

State Minister for Law and Justice Shahadat Awan moved the Publication of Laws of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2022 which was passed by the House.

State Minister for Finance and Revenue Aisha Ghaus Pasha moved the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan Bill, 2022. Senator Mushtaq Ahmed discussed an amendment submitted by him earlier on the bill, however, the Leader of the House and Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar responded to it and bill was passed as reported by the Standing Committee.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi moved the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oath and Fees) (Amendment) Bill, 2022 which was also passed by the House.
