A walk across the road in Karachi is more threatening than climbing K2. People are safe neither outdoors nor at home. The crime rate is out of control, and is increasing by the day. The so-called city of lights has seen adventurous phases, such as targeted killings, bombings, kidnappings and other terrorist activities. Apparently, educated but unemployed youth is often involved in street crimes. It is logical to address the main cause. The state must focus on the young generation.
