KP allocates 20pc of CM flood relief fund for Balochistan victims

PESHAWAR: What is being described as exemplary show, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday decided to allocate 20 percent of the money collected in Chief Minister Flood Relief Fund for the flood victims of Balochistan.

Chairing a meeting here, KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan informed that seven medical teams will also leave for Balochistan province today.

He said that livestock teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government were present in Nasirabad, Jhal Magsi, Jafarabad and Suhbatpur areas of Balochistan. He said that the KP government will not leave alone people of Balochistan in this difficult time.

He said that financial assistance for rehabilitation of houses would start from District DI Khan on Saturday (today). The chief minister said that compensation amount of RS.0.4 million would be given for completely destroyed houses while Rs0.16 million would be given to partially damaged houses.
