Strategy, micro-plan for upcoming anti-polio drive fine-tuned

BADIN: All departments must wage a war on polio virus with sincere intentions so that the country can be freed from the crippling disease. The success of the anti-polio campaign is dependent on an effective micro-planning and work as a team.

This was expressed by Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin, while presiding over an important meeting held to review anti-polio campaign scheduled to be started from November 24 and continue till Nov 30. On the occasion, he emphasized that parents should cooperate with the polio teams to protect their children from disability and ensure that each and every child is vaccinated.

He stressed that it should be the prime responsibility everyone to protect future of children, adding that success of the anti-polio campaign is the only option and all institutions should play the part in the fight against polio.

The Badin DC directed the District Health Officer to take action against those who shown their negligence during the campaign, adding the micro-plan should be fully implemented to ensure effective coverage during the campaign.

On the occasion, Mujeeb Rehman, ADC-I, Waqar Ahmed, ADC-II, Dr Sher Muhammad Nohrio, District Health Officer, Dr Karim Bakhsh Gadahi, N Staff, Assistant Commissioners of all Talukas, doctors & other officers concerned also attended the meeting.
