Three newly-regularized IHC Judges sworn in

ISLAMABAD: The three recently-confirmed additional judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday took oath of their office and formally started performing as regular judges.

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq administered oath to newly-confirmed judges including justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Saman Raffat Imtiaz during a ceremony held on the premises of IHC. The event was attended by a large number of lawyers, judges and other personalities.

After the oath-taking ceremony, the new judges started performing their duties in their courts. It is to be recalled that President Arif Alvi on Tuesday approved regularization of the three Islamabad High Court (IHC) additional judges. The president regularized the three additional judges under article 175A 13.
