LAHORE: The three-day health screening camp organized by the Punjab Police in collaboration with the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare department at Central Police Office concluded here on Thursday. On the last day of the camp, a large number of employees, staff and officials were screened and examined by specialist doctors.
According to the camp organizers, more than 850 officials were screened for hepatitis, sugar, blood pressure, asthma, respiratory diseases and mental problems during the screening camp, besides PCR tests were also conducted of the officials. To protect the policemen against hepatitis, hepatitis vaccination of the staff and employees were also carried out. Doctors and paramedical staff of the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare department examined the police employees throughout the camp diligently.
On the occasion, AIG Admin and Security Amara Athar said that the screening camp for the convenience of police employees was commendable, which gave hundreds of employees of the Central Police Office the opportunity to get their health screened. “Further steps will continue in the future so that they can perform their duty more diligently”, she added.
