ISLAMABAD: Reham Khan, one-time weather presenter for BBC, has announced her marriage, for the third time, to model-turned-actor Mirza Bilal Baig, 13 years her junior, in a ceremony kept under wraps in the United States.
In a tweet on Friday, the 49-year-old, who is now based in the US, said: “We had a lovely nikkah ceremony performed in Seattle with the blessings of @MirzaBilal__ parents [and] my son as my vakeel.”
“Finally found a man who I can trust @MirzaBilal__,” said Khan, whose previous marriage to former prime minister Imran Khan ended after nine months in October 2015.

In pictures she shared on social media, Khan was seen in a white wedding gown while her 36-year-old husband Baig was seen dressed in a mauve-coloured suit.
Earlier, she announced her marriage by posting a picture of two hands with a two-word caption: “Just Married.”

This is also the third marriage for Baig.
In 2015, after her divorce from the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party, Khan revealed that she — like Jemima Goldsmith, Imran’s first wife — had been subjected to a hate campaign in Pakistan, and that their marriage had not survived it.
Imran’s marriage to Goldsmith, a British socialite and daughter of the billionaire financier James Goldsmith, ended in 2004. His political rivals used the marriage to attack Goldsmith by emphasising her Jewish roots.
Khan was born in Libya in 1973. After studying in Pakistan, she began working as a broadcast journalist in the UK in the mid-90s, including as a weather presenter for BBC South Today.
After moving to Pakistan in 2012, she met Imran when interviewing him for a local TV show.
Earlier, in July, Khan made a guest appearance on a YouTube show where she talked about finding love again. Answering a question about her marriage plans, Khan said she has been told by a family member who is also a palmist that she would actually get married again.
