Govt deliberately change investigation officers of Khan’s case: Shibli

Islamabad: The central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator Senator Shibli Faraz on Friday alleged that the caretaker Punjab government has deliberately changed the investigation officers of the firing case of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. In a statement, he feared that the sitting caretaker government would destroy the witnesses and evidences of this case. He pointed out that number of attempts being made to eliminate political opponents but they badly failed.

He reiterated that caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has changed the investigation officers of the Imran Khan assassination attempt case. “If we want to save democracy in Pakistan then it is imperative to follow the constitution” he added. He said that the solution to all problems is to hold general elections immediately.
