ISLAMABAD: The woes of the Pakistanis used to travel abroad have compounded further amid rising rate of the US dollar as the air tickets will now cost more, it was learnt on Wednesday.
The airfare of Lahore to Jeddah and Lahore to Madinah has been raised by Rs28,000. The air ticket for Lahore to Dubai will now cost Rs11,000 more.
The minimum one-way airfare of Lahore to Dubai has now been multiplied to Rs99,000 from Rs88,000.
There has been a Rs7,000 increase in airfare from Lahore to Karachi. The two-way Lahore to Karachi air ticket has gone up to Rs41,000 from Rs34,000.
Lahore to Istanbul air travel will now consume Rs15,000 more as the one-way fare will now cost Rs188,000.
The Lahore to Toronto airfare will now cost Rs503,000 after an increase of Rs35,000.
