Enumerating PML-N feats, Sanaullah urges nation to elect sincere leadership

FAISALABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Sunday urged the nation to show political maturity and elect sincere leadership instead of depending on the politicians promoting hate and anarchy in the country.

He was addressing a public gathering at the inauguration of a road constructed with an estimated cost of Rs81.706 million from Makhan Wala Bridge to Bypass via Chak 116/JB here on Sunday.

He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) always worked for public welfare and betterment.

“The PML-N constructed motorways and roads in addition to establishing hospitals and universities. The country was making progress at a much faster pace when PML-N government was ousted and an incompetent man (Imran Khan) was imposed on the nation”, he claimed. “PTI chief ruled the country for four years but failed to launch any worth-mentioning development or public welfare project during his tenure”, he added.

The minister said that PML-N always strived for providing much-needed relief to the masses. “I also got development projects of Rs4,000 to Rs4,500 million for NA-106”, he said and added Rs3 billion was also spent on reconstruction of Bypass Road from Sarogdha Road to Sammundri Road via Jhang Road.

He said that PTI government failed to undertake any road project during its tenure due to which the present government had to focus on main roads. However, village side roads would also be reconstructed and improved soon.

He said that two NADRA offices were working in NA-106 whereas more offices along with passport counters would also be established in this constituency to facilitate people of the area.

He strongly criticized PTI chief and said that he was not a man of words as he earlier claimed that he would prefer to commit suicide instead of going to International Monetary Fund (IMF) but later he made a deal with IMF on hard conditions. The present price spiral was the outcome of these conditionalities. However, PML-N government would soon overcome the situation, he added.

He said that Imran Khan was not sincere with the nation but he was befooling the people through his false claims. Imran Khan looted national wealth through his crony Farah Gogi and shifted it aboard. In this regard, a bank transaction of Rs12 billion was also surfaced. Imran also stole a wrist watch, a precious pen and other items from Toshakhana on bogus receipts. Worth of these items was about Rs100 million dollars in the market which he sold and brought defame for the country.

The minister said that PML-N was the only party which was not only time-tested but also had the capacity to drag Pakistan out of crises. The people should show political maturity and repose their confidence on PML-N to elect a sincere leadership to resume development pace in the country.
