Bizenjo decides against use bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has decided not to use bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle, also barring member of cabinet, Civil and Police officers from using bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle, said a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Saturday.

Issuing directives to the concerned authorities to park all bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicles, he said that if life was very dear to someone, he should also have arranged the facility of bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle for their squad and other personnel deputed for their security, adding, “We manage to protect on bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle, leaving the security staff to target”. He said in many incidents, security personnel deputed for security of the VIPs had been targeted by the terrorists.

“Life and death are in the hand of Almighty Allah and bomb-and-bullet-proof vehicle could not save life “, said Bizenjo. “Henceforth, no traffic route will be planned for any vip including me as routes for vip creates problems for the people” said he.
