RAHIM YAR KHAN: The Punjab Police on Friday gunned down three more dacoits during the ongoing operation in Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan.
The spokesperson of the Punjab Police District Police Officer (DPO) Rizwan Umar Gondal said that the ongoing operation against the criminal elements in Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan has entered its 20th day. The police have moved into the Kacha Rajwani and besieged the area. Intermittent firing took place between the police and the robbers.
He said the operation will continue with full force until the area has not been completely cleared or all the bandits are apprehended. He confirmed that three bandits have been killed during the operation on 20th say of the operation, while 28 have been arrested and a huge cache of heavy weapons and ammunition was also seized. He further said police camps have been established after destroying the hideouts of many dacoits.
