Monkeypox prevention: KP govt starts screening at Torkham border

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for prevention of monkeypox has started screening at Torkham border.

The health department in this regard has formed a team of doctors to screen the passengers coming from Afghanistan at the Pak-Afghan border.

The step was taken in the wake of recent monkeypox cases reported in different cities of the country.
