LAHORE: Central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Hamayun Akhtar Khan has said that timely elections hold key importance to normalize the situation and for political and economic stability in the country.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said that PTI has always talked of law and justice. Chairman PTI and entire party leadership has already condemned the May 09, vandalism.
Hamayun Akhtar Khan said that PTI never did politics of turbulence and rallies held by it with hundreds of thousands participants without harming a single flower pot during them was its clear proof.
He said that the PTI leadership has urged to bring the culprits involved in May 09, vandalism to book.
The PTI leader said that entire attention of the PDM government was on propaganda against his party instead of concentrating on resolving the economic crisis which has made the life of common man miserable.
He said that the Contempt of Parliament Bill 2023 was approved in haste which would never have positive outcome.
Hamayun Akhtar said that masses want timely elections in the country for improvement of situation and getting rid of the prevailing crises.
