So-called “US conspiracy” narrative has collapsed: Sherry

ISLAMABAD: Taking a dig at former prime minister and the PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Climate Minister Sherry Rehman on Sunday nailed him over his “US conspiracy’ narrative, saying that who accused the US of overthrowing the government by waving a letter are now begging the members of the US Congress to interfere in the country’s internal affairs on his party’s behalf.

In a series of tweets, Sherry Rehman said: “The so-called “US conspiracy” narrative has collapsed. Those who accused the US of overthrowing the government by waving a letter are now begging the members of the US Congress. Imran Khan created a narrative of American conspiracy for a year. Now he is asking a Congress member to raise her voice in his favor.

“Even then, Imran Khan had conspired against the foreign interests of the country for the sake of his politics. He again is conspiring to involve foreign countries to interfere in the nternal affairs of Pakistan. Is the world unaware of the judicial facilitation, relief and shameful events of May 9?”

“When the fascist government of Imran Khan made false cases against our leadership and sent them to jail, did we ask the outside world to interfere in domestic affairs? Imran Khan has done politics in the name of accountability, now he is looking towards the world to avoid accountability and culpability.”
