PESHAWAR: At least three people died and more than 20 others injured as heavy rain followed by stormy wind wrecked havoc in various districts of Khyber Pakhunkhwa (KP) on Monday.
According to details, torrential rains along with strong wind caused heavy damages in district Bannu, Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan as roof blew/caved off at various localities.
Two people lost their lives and 13 sustained injured in various rain related incidents in district Bannu while a child died and seven people were injured in such incidents in Sarai Naurang area of Lakki Marwat.
The bodies and injured were shifted different hospitals of respective areas. According to hospital sources, condition of many among the injured was critical and it was feared that death toll could rise further.
