LAHORE: Muhammad Ahmad Saad has taken on the role of Public Relations Officer (PRO) at the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) of Lahore, as announced by the authority on Wednesday.
With a background in journalism, Mr. Saad brings a wealth of experience to his new position in terms of public image enhancement.
A spokesperson for the authority emphasised that he will be overseeing the strategic engagement process between the organisation and the public, aimed at fostering mutual understanding and achieving shared objectives.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saad underscored the pivotal role of the authority in curbing environmental pollution and smog in the provincial metropolis.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the authority, officially responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of Lahore, has introduced an innovative project involving the geo-tagging of trees in urban forests, parks, and green belts across the provincial capital.
He was referring to the “Regreen Lahore” mobile application, which was launched in September of the previous year. This app has been designed to facilitate the deployment of authority personnel for the purpose of tree tagging and monitoring.
