LAHORE: A delegation from Al Khidmat Foundation on Friday visited the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) headquarters in Lahore to meet with Director General Muhammad Tahir Wattoo.
During the meeting, Ziauddin Ansari, head of the Lahore chapter of the foundation, discussed the Green Lahore campaign and the Bano Qabil initiative aimed at empowering the youth.
As part of this initiative, the Al-Khidmat Foundation plans to offer free information technology courses to over 10,000 students across more than 40 educational institutions within the city over the course of a year.
During this event, the Al-Khidmat Foundation also proposed the inclusion of free IT courses for the children of PHA employees within the framework of the Banu Qabil project.
Mr Wattoo appreciated the project’s vision and expressed his assurance of wholehearted cooperation from PHA. The Al-Khidmat Foundation delegation conveyed their gratitude to the PHA officials, including Mr Wattoo.
The meeting was attended by various prominent figures from both organizations, including Musa Ali Bukhari, Director of Administration at PHA; Amir Ibrahim, Director of Marketing; and Farrukh Akhlaq, Project Director of Jilani Park.
