Four special assistants inducted in Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet

GILGIT: The cabinet of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) has undergone an expansion after the appointment of four special assistants to Chief Minister (CM) Gulbar Khan.

According to the notification issued on Monday, Zabihullah was appointed as a Special Assistant to CM (SACM) on Commerce and Youth Affairs.

After his appointment, 25-year-old Zabihullah, belonging to Chilas, became the youngest provincial minister in Pakistan’s history.

Maulana Sarwar Shah was appointed as SACM on Minerals; senior journalist Iman Shah was appointed as SACM on Information, while Hussain Shah was notified as special assistant to chief minister on irrigation.

According to the notification, the SACMs will enjoy the perks and privileges of a provincial minister.
