No country recognizes Kashmir as part of India: Jalil Abbas

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Minister for Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani has said that Kashmir is a disputed territory and no country of the world has recognized it as a part of India.

Jalil Abbas Jilani in a media interview said Pakistan wants a peaceful neighbourhood and peaceful relations with all its neighbours, including India.
He said for peaceful relations, India must create a conducive atmosphere, including withdrawing August 5 2019 actions in the occupied territory, release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the territory and withdrawal of troops from Kashmir.
To a question the foreign minister said the Kashmir dispute has been pending with the United Nations for the last several decades and legislation by India cannot affect its disputed status.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI), Raja Najabat Hussain, has said that his organisation will continue to expose the ugly and cruel face of India to the whole world.
Raja Najabat Hussain expressed these views while addressing a dinner given in his honour by the former Director General of Mangla Dam Housing Authority Chaudhry Zulfiqar Azam.
He said the international community, instead of looking at their trade interests with India, should look at the ongoing human rights violations and massacres of innocent people and make all political and social relations with India subject to the end of ongoing human rights violations in India.
The Chairman of Umeed Welfare Trust, UK, Raja Mehrban Hussain, former Political Secretary to Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Amir Zeeshan Jaral, former Councillor Syed Aftab Hussain Shah, Vice Chairman of Cantonment Board, Mangla Cantt, Tariq Khan, District Councillor Potha Bansi Tawkir Najeeb Advocate and other personalities also participated in the dinner.
