SWAT: Four members of a same family, including a woman and her son, were killed when a car went out of control and fell into a stream near Bisham area in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Besham Police Station SHO Bakht Zahir confirmed that the ill-fated four members of family belonging to Bisham Qila area were on the way to Swat in a car on Friday. Reaching Lahore Nullah, driver lost control of the car due which to it skidded off the road and fell into a deep stream. As a result, thirty-five-year-old Saran Zeb, son of Maruf, his mother sixty-year-old Khamo Bibi, and four-year-old girl Huria, daughter of Muhammad Haleem, died on the spot, while Attaur Rahman, son of Omar Zeb, was seriously injured.
According to the police, after the incident, the rescue personnel reached the spot and took out the dead bodies and the injured youth with the help of locals from the car. Ataur Rahman was being taken to Saidu Sharif Hospital in critical condition but he succumbed to his wounds on the way.
Later, the four bodies were brought to their house. On the other hand, shock and grief prevailed in the area after four funerals of the same family were offered.
They were laid to rest in the local graveyard.
