Rangers to guard Arab princes while they hunt in Punjab

LAHORE: The caretaker government of Punjab has approved deployment of Rangers personnel for the security of Arab princes coming to the provinces for hunting.

A Punjab Cabinet committee decided to field three companies of the Rangers jawans in certain cities of the province for guarding the hunting princes from Middle East, sources said.

The sources further said that the Arab princes are coming from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for hunting houbara bustard.

The Punjab Home Department sought deployment of the Rangers force for the security of the Arab guests.
