ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan made it clear that the sacrifice of 9-year old Ammar Farooq, son of PTI’s ticket-holder Mian Ibad Farooq, will neither be forgotten, nor will it go to waste, as it will come back to haunt the perpetrators and accelerate the journey to winning real freedom for Pakistan.
The PTI Central Information Secretary expressed his heartfelt grief over the tragic death of little soul who was died, as he was denied treatment in a hospital.
“His crime was that he is the son of Mian Ibad Farooq,” he added. Raoof Hasan stated that Abad Farooq’s crime was that he was a PTI ticket holder and a devoted follower of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and that was crime enough for him to be incarcerated for 135 days.
PTI CIS said that Ammar was traumatised because of frequent mid-night assaults on his home as he desperately waited for his father to come back who was denied bail. “Ammar is gone as the judiciary faltered in its responsibility to ensure the basic rights of citizens and the media kept mum on ceaseless and brutal state assault on anyone who has anything to do with PTI,” he remarked.
However, Raoof Hasan made it clear that Ammar’s sacrifice will neither be forgotten, nor will it go to waste, as it will come back to haunt the perpetrators and accelerate the journey to winning real freedom for Pakistan.
“May God’s blessings be showered on the little angel who may not be physically present among us, but he will forever be in our thoughts,” he prayed.
Funeral in absentia for Ammar
Pakistan Tehrrek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan expressed heartfelt condolences over the most tragic death of PTIs ticket-holder Mian Ibad Farooq’s minor son Ammar Abad Farooq and announced that the PTI would perform funeral in absentia for the little soul across the country.
The PTI Secretary General issued specially instructions to all party’s organizational officials and departments in this regard.
The PTI workers and leaders will perform the funeral prayer in absentia for the little Omar Farooq across the country.
“May Allah grant Ammar’s soul the highest place in Jannatul Firdos and grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he prayed. “Ammar’s death is due to the vicious reign of terror on PTI members,” Omar remarked, adding that he was affected by his father’s absence and the reign of terror unleashed on the family by the fascist illegal Punjab CM and his lackeys in the Punjab Police.
“Allah Almighty will hold them to account one day inshallah and they will have to pay the price for their misdeeds just as the Nazi’s paid for unleashing a reign of terror in Germany,” he added.
