No justification of PTI chief’s in-camera trial as Cypher no more ‘secret’: Raoof

ISLAMABAD: Central Information Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Raoof Hasan has said that the Cypher had been declassified by the entire cabinet and the information contained in the communication could no longer be dubbed as ‘secret’; therefore, there was no justification to hold in-camera trial of PTI Chairman in this fake and fabricated case.

“If, as is claimed, unimpeachable evidence is available against the alleged ‘criminals’, what are the prosecution and their patrons afraid of by conducting an open trial so that the people of this country could also ascertain the reality of this monstrous drama,” he questioned

Raoof Hasan said that in-camera trial of PTI Chairman in the fake and fabricated Cypher case was brutal murder of justice. “The fact that the Cypher had been declassified by the entire cabinet is enough to drive a nail in the artificial balloon of this case as the information contained in the communication could no longer be dubbed as ‘secret’ after that,” he maintained.

He further stated, “Yet the kangaroo trial has commenced because the agenda is to punish the one who resolutely defended Pakistan’s right to safeguard its sovereignty and independence. In the new parlance, such people are rendered liable for trial for treason.”

“What disgrace, what utter sham! Beyond the immediate, justice cannot be denied its ascendance. It shall prevail much to the angst of the planners and perpetrators of this fraudulent enactment,” he added.

“Imran Khan shall rise. Pakistan shall rise,” the PTI Information Secretary vowed.
