RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed two terrorists during an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Zerber, Kech District of Balochistan Province, military’s media wing, ISPR, said on Saturday.
On reported presence of terrorists on night 6/7 October 2023, the ISPR handout said, the security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Zerber, Kech District.
“During conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell. A large quantity of equipment and explosives has also been recovered. The killed terrorists had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies,” the statement added.
“Sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Security forces of Pakistan are committed to thwart efforts of enemies of peace in the country,” the statement added.
