The rulers of the world have a strange kind of sleepiness and a state of power that if any tyrannical and obstinate ruler or miscreants who invent a false myth, attack and invade a peaceful, harmless nation or kill the innocent people of a country with bullets, bombs and airstrikes, there is no one to ask and no one to stop it but when an oppressed people is fed up and takes retaliatory action, everyone starts making noise together. For the past five decades, the Palestinians have been subjected to extreme oppression but the international community remained a silent spectator. No progress is being made for the right to freedom of the Palestinians. Thus, Palestinians have now decided to prefer the death of dignity by standing on their knees over the death of humiliation.
It is a fact that Israel’s continuous oppression and aggression against the Palestinians is getting out of control, that is why the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has suddenly shaken Israel to its roots through a major attack, but the entire responsibility lies with Israel because the response of the Palestinians is retaliation to the endless series of Israeli atrocities. This attack by Hamas convinces Israel that it is not possible to imprison a nation forever. The reaction is sure to happen after some time and can be very noticeable at times.
This resistance operation has surprised the world while after this operation, Israel is bombarding Gaza heavily, as a result of which more human lives will be lost but blood can never be washed away with blood. The oppression and injustice must be ended and the rights must be given to the rightful. In this regard, the Palestinian Foreign Minister is right to say that without the end of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the establishment of a Palestinian state, there will be no sustainable peace in the region or the concept of stability is also not possible but the Israeli leadership and their international supporters do not believe this.
The world is divided on the issue of Hamas’ countermeasures against Israel as in some parts of the world Israel is being supported and in some other places solidarity is being expressed with Palestine. US President Joe Biden has said that his country is standing with Israel like a rock. While Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his solidarity with Israel by condemning the attack by Hamas. On one hand, European countries seem to be willing to give free concessions to Israel under the guise of supporting Israel while on the other hand, Muslim countries are convincing that its results will never be good. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Pakistan and other Islamic countries have asked the world community to stop Israel from attacking Palestinians using these events as an excuse, otherwise the situation will be dire.
It is the result of the two-faced policy of the international community that the fierce attacks of Hamas on Israel have not only made the Zionist state shine, but also destroyed all the pride of being equipped with modern technology and military equipment. If Israel continues to be portrayed as the victim under the guise of these attacks and is given such an open licence to spill Palestinian blood in retaliation then this will result in an endless cycle of violence that nobody will be able to control. So, what is happening or has happened so far is a mere spectacle of resistance. It is the joint responsibility of all to stop this spectacle from playing again and if it is not immediately curbed, then no one will be able to save the peace of the world from destruction.
Meetings of the United Nations and OIC have been called on this sensitive situation. Many such meetings have been held before but the verbal actions and decisions of these meetings have never been converted into practical measures. These alleged peace contractors and all human rights experts have been watching such bloody spectacles for decades, but no one has the courage to stand up to the Zionist atrocities and put pressure on Israel to stop the series of the bloodshed of innocent Palestinians. Instead, all of them together have been giving open exemptions to Israel. They are still blaming the oppressed Palestinians and giving free rein to Israel. Meanwhile, Israel intensified its attacks on Gaza after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu threatened to turn the besieged Palestinian territory into a deserted island. However, Hezbollah launched attacks in support of Hamas against Israel, resulting in more than 1000 deaths to date, including 370 Palestinians and at least 600 Israelis.
