Owning our country

The root cause of all the problems we face is that we do not own our country. Though we make individual efforts to pursue our own narrow interests, we take no collective measures to improve the economic, political, social and cultural interests of millions of our countrymen. Such a selfish approach on our part has put our beloved Pakistan at a great disadvantage. The only remedy is to make collective efforts for the resolution of our problems by putting collective pressure on those in power. The sooner we realise this, the better it will be for the welfare and prosperity of the country.
