Nawaz Sharif leaves for Islamabad under tight security

LAHORE: Former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has left for Islamabad from his residence in Jati Umra, Lahore on Monday.

The former premier left his residence under tight security.

The PML-N workers also sacrificed goats on this occasion for the safety of their leader.

The former premier will appear in Islamabad court Tuesday.

He was granted protective bail by the Islamabad High Court in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia cases until October 24.

According to reports, Nawaz Sharif will go to Murree where he will hold meetings with party leaders. Ishaq Dar will also be accompanying him. He will stay there for 2 to 3 days.

However, no details of his Murree route have been revealed due to security reasons.
