ISLAMABAD: While strongly rejecting the special court’s decision, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson dubbed the indictment of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the cypher case as murder of justice and judicial system.
In a statement issued here, the PTI spokesperson and said that PTI Chairman and Vice Chairman were indicted through the ongoing tradition of brutal murder of justice in Pakistan. He expressed disappointment over the total failure of the judiciary in ensuring upholding of the constitution, supremacy the rule of law, besides protecting the right of citizens, especially the PTI leaders and workers to a fair trial in the country.
PTI spokesperson said that the entire state was under the attack of the absolute lawlessness like paralysis and due to which its organs started ceasing to function one after another. He recalled that during the last 18-month-long rule, the state first lost its vision, followed by intellect and ability to think and after the collapse of the justice system, its entire existence was under attack of the paralysis.
PTI Spokesman went on to say that the sick and paralyzed state machinery has taken the help of a non-professional greedy and selfish group of journalists to make the misguided decisions, serious crimes against democracy and lawlessness acceptable to the nation.
He stated that the elements like Kamran Shahid, Adil Shahzeb and Muneeb Farooq under the guise of journalism have become its facilitators in covering up the crimes of the state.
PTI spokesperson underlined that the Cipher case was the most absurd, fabricated and baseless case among more than over 200 fake and bogus cases filed against PTI Chairman, adding that the state even lacked capacity to at least conduct judicial proceedings on the most false cases in the light of any rule of law.
He contended that the certifications of innocence were handing over to the national criminal and his money laundering expert from the SC to the Accountability Court, whereas Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were not even being provided with the full charge sheet of the case.
PTI spokesperson continued that the ongoing injustice, cruelty, conspiracy and revenge clearly reflected from every aspect of the case from its secret trial in the jail to the indictment under the guise of a fabricated charge sheet.
He said that the courts’ acting on the dictations of the powerful state elements and facilitating their agenda of negating Imran Khan, the PTI chairman of the most popular political party, from politics was a betrayal of the constitution, the nation and democracy.
PTI spokesperson made it clear that the nation neither accepted the patronage of the thieves nor the ongoing series of state oppression and revenge against innocent political leaders and workers at present and nor would accept it in the future. He vowed that let the time come, the people would hold them accountable who committed serious crimes against the country, constitutions and the nation.
