The presence of shopping malls in residential areas causes difficulties and problems to the residents. The area gets packed with vehicles, and people remain stuck in traffic jams for lengthy periods of time. Moreover, the smoke and honking of cars, rickshaws and public transport vehicles cause noise and air pollution. The residents face trouble studying in their homes or while going out for their daily chores. In other countries, shopping malls and markets are constructed in commercial areas to avoid such disturbances. The local authorities should take immediate action against builders violating and ignoring rules and regulations.
