The load on electric pole transformers is higher in summers than in winters. The efficiency of transformers is also affected by exposure to direct sunlight which results in failure of transformers, or in frequent breakdowns. A simple fiberglass enclosure can save the transformers from direct sunlight. The relevant authorities should consider the proposal seriously.
