PTI denies alliance with any party

MARDAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Ali Muhammad Khan has denied any alliance with any political party in the upcoming election.

Talking to a private TV channel, Khan said that the PTI is the biggest political party in the country and it is making its own political space. He said that the PTI is engaging different parties for free and fair elections and may meet Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in this regard. However, he clarified that it will be a political meeting and not an alliance.

Khan also said that the PTI is expected to meet the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the future regarding the election. He said that the PTI is only interested in clear and transparent elections and wants all parties to get an equal chance.

“We are not talking about any alliance, any relief, or any deal,” Khan said. “We have no instructions from Imran Khan to form an alliance with any party, nor has the core committee discussed any alliance with us.”
